At HOBO Cabin Co we aspire to make beautiful things. Beautiful things that become part of the everyday, things you can’t live without. Sometimes inspiration comes from unexpected places. Random texture, organic colours and traditional forms. These all help inform and influence our design direction and the ultimate outcome of our spaces. Form, function and aesthetics are always in play when considering how our builds will integrate seamlessly into the lives of our customers and clients.

After careers as senior creatives in the design industry we decided to jump ship and relocate to a remote part of Australia to find space and once again be inspired by our natural environment. Being based in Tasmania means we have access to 100% renewable energy through hydro electric and wind power which keeps our carbon footprint very small. More recently Tasmania has been given the status of one of the few places on the planet which is truly carbon negative.
